Besonderer Bekanntheit erlangten die Naxi, deren Kultur und Sprache w\u00e4hrend der 1920er Jahre von dem \u00d6sterreichischen Botaniker Joseph Rock erforscht wurde. Er lebte im Dorf Yuhu zusammen mit dem Naxi-Volk, um die Chinesische Flora zu studieren .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"3024\" Das Stadtgebiet Lijiang liegt auf einem Plateau, umgeben von den s\u00fcd\u00f6stlichen Ausl\u00e4ufern des Himalaja Gebirges. Es wird gesagt, dass es vor langer Zeit zehn b\u00f6se Drachen gab, die viel Zerst\u00f6rung anrichteten und den Menschen gro\u00dfen Schaden zuf\u00fcgten. Nach der Chinesischen Legende bezwang eines Tages der unsterbliche &#8222;Lu Dongbin&#8220; neun der Drachen und sperrte sie in einen Turm. Nur der j\u00fcngste schwarze Drache blieb \u00fcbrig. Als Preis seiner Freiheit hat er die Aufgabe, die Menschen zu sch\u00fctzen und ihnen zu n\u00fctzen. Man glaubt, dass dieser Drache bis heute im Black Dragon Pool lebt. Der Pool ist durch eine Br\u00fccke in zwei Teile geteilt, und obwohl das Wasser verbunden ist, hat das Wasser auf beiden Seiten unterschiedliche Farben. Man kann beobachten, dass die Fische der jeweiligen Seite niemals zum gegen\u00fcberliegenden Teil des Pools schwimmen.
