Direkt von Taichung City lassen sich die zehn nummerierten Dakeng Trails per Bus erreichen.  Der Trail mit der Nummer 4 gilt als der schwierigste und sch\u00f6nste, obwohl er mit nur rund 2 Kilometern angegeben ist. Zum einen zerren die hohen Temperaturen und die hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit an der Kondition, zum anderen verl\u00e4uft der gesamte Trail auf Holzbohlen, die teilweise steil den Berg hinauf
